My sweet baby boy Hopper. I rescued you from living in the outside cold of Colorado in April of 2011. You never had another cold night again as you slept next to me for the next 8 1/2 years. You were my 1st boy and I learned quickly how appreciative & loving you were. I am forever grateful for our time together, your willingness to let me take all those silly pictures, your voice barking at all the deer, peeing on the chairs in the house & your tolerance of the other corgis and cats.
I am so glad you kissed my face last night as we went to bed. I don’t think either of us knew those would be our last kisses and I love you’s. You were so peaceful when I woke up at 1:00 to learn you passed. I thank you for letting me be your mom, I was and will forever be honored. I love you Hopper Gillis.
